Dr. James F. Scoggin is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at Orthopaedic Specialists Hawaii, LLC, Honolulu, Hawai’i. He is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Surgery at the John A. Burns School of Medicine and a former President of the Hawai’i Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Scoggin graduated from Clemson University, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) in Zoology.
He received his M.D. degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Following his Orthopaedic Surgery residency, Dr. Scoggin completed a fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine with Dr. Richard Caspari, in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Scoggin is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
